Foam rolling and eccentric exercise interventions have been demonstrated to improve range of motion (ROM). However, these two modalities have not been directly compared. Twenty-three academy soccer players (age: 18 ± 1; height: 1.74 ± 0.08 m; body mass: 69.3 ± 7.5 kg) were randomly allocated to either a foam rolling (FR) or eccentric exercise intervention designed to improve dorsiflexion ROM. Participants performed the intervention daily for a duration of four weeks. Measurements of dorsiflexion ROM, isometric plantar flexion torque and drop jump reactive strength index were taken at baseline (pre-intervention) and at three subsequent time-points (30-min post, 24-hours post and 4-weeks post). A significant time x group interaction effect was observed for dorsiflexion (P = 0.036), but not for torque or reactive strength index. For dorsiflexion, there was a significant increase in both acute (30-min; P < 0.001) and chronic (4-week; P < 0.001) ROM for the eccentric group, whilst FR exhibited only an acute improvement (P < 0.001). Eccentric training would appear a more efficacious modality than foam rolling for improving dorsiflexion ROM in elite academy soccer players. 相似文献

目的:通过人体实验,对半刚性踝护具内翻防护效果进行研究,对该护具的内翻防护性能进行评价。方法:对14名男性志愿者进行平面与斜面着陆测试。平面着陆实验在不同高度(40 cm、50 cm、60 cm)及不同状态(裸足、弹性护具、半刚性护具)下进行,斜面着陆实验设置高度为40 cm,比较不同状态(裸足、弹性护具、半刚性护具)下的各项数据。利用Vicon三维动态捕捉系统收集运动学和地面反力数据。结果:平面着陆实验中,弹性护具组的最大内翻角度和最大外翻力矩最小(P<005)。斜面着陆中,半刚性护具组的最大外翻力矩最大(P<005),且最大内翻角度显著小于裸足(P<005)。两种着陆中最大内翻角速度均没有显著差异(P>005)。相较于平面着陆,斜面着陆下最大内翻角度、最大内翻角速度和最大外翻力矩均较大。结论:斜面着陆中,半刚性护具的最大内翻角度显著减小,表明其内翻防护性能较好;最大内翻角速度和最大外翻力矩能否作为护具内翻防护效果的评价参数有待进一步探讨。 相似文献

This paper is concerned with a control method for an exoskeleton ankle with electromyography (EMG) signals. The EMG signals
of human ankle and the exoskeleton ankle are introduced. Then a control method is proposed to control the exoskeleton ankle
using the EMG signals. The feed-forward neural network model applied here is composed of four layers and uses the back-propagation
training algorithm. The output signals from neural network are processed by the wavelet transform. Finally the control orders
generated from the output signals are passed to the motor controller and drive the exoskeleton to move. Through experiments,
the equality of neural network prediction of ankle movement is evaluated by giving the correlation coefficient. It is shown
from the experimental results that the proposed method can accurately control the movement of ankle joint.

This study aimed to evaluate the test–retest reliability of a new device for assessing ankle joint kinesthesia. This device could measure the passive motion threshold of four ankle joint movements, namely plantarflexion, dorsiflexion, inversion and eversion. A total of 21 healthy adults, including 13 males and 8 females, participated in the study. Each participant completed two sessions on two separate days with 1-week interval. The sessions were administered by the same experimenter in the same laboratory. At least 12 trials (three successful trials in each of the four directions) were performed in each session. The mean values in each direction were calculated and analysed. The ICC values of test–retest reliability ranged from 0.737 (dorsiflexion) to 0.935 (eversion), whereas the SEM values ranged from 0.21° (plantarflexion) to 0.52° (inversion). The Bland–Altman plots showed that the reliability of plantarflexion–dorsiflexion was better than that of inversion–eversion. The results evaluated the reliability of the new device as fair to excellent. The new device for assessing kinesthesia could be used to examine the ankle joint kinesthesia. 相似文献
